My Name is Robyn Corshia, and I am a receptionist at Animal Medical Center. I am currently working on my CVA level 1 and I am enrolled at Panola College majoring in Book Keeping. I have adopted 2 adorable pups from a shelter and their names are Thor and Oliver. When I started working at AMC, I wasn’t quite educated enough about animals. Everyday that I work here I learn something new, whether it is pertaining to the food that we sell or the medications for animals, it’s never a dull moment. My favorite part about working here would have to be seeing animals progress from being sick or injured, to be back playing around and acting like their selves again. We have amazing doctors and an amazing staff who all play a part in helping with your pets needs.
My name is Heather Griffin & I am a CVA1 and CVA2 at the clinic. My husband Mark and I have 5 children ages 4-16, 2 German Shepherds a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and numerous cats. I am currently studying to complete the last level of CVA and RVT. I majored in Associated Animal Science in high school and graduated Valedictorian. This particular course of study included canine, feline, equine, rodent, aviary, bovine and porcine and the industries to which they pertained. I narrowed my study to the fields of small animals specifically Canine Science. I continued my education by taking courses in Canine Behavior and Training at Mount Ida College. This course focused on dog training and behavior. Over the years I have worked for breeders, groomers and spent several years managing stores and training management at Petco.
Before AMC I was the Director of Children’s Ministries at First United Methodist Church Carthage. Our family is still very active at the church and my daughter and I enjoy singing in the band during contemporary worship. In my spare time I enjoy going to all of my kid’s games and activities, Bulldog football, church activities, working in the yard and playing with my dogs.
Hello! My name is Ashley Driskill. My Husband Josh and I recently moved to town from Stillwater, OK (GO POKES!). We brought along with us our wonderful 2 year old daughter and our one and only fur-child, a Maine Coon mix, Watson. I am a Registered Veterinary Technician here at AMC. I Graduated from an AVMA approved Veterinary Technology program at Murray State College in 2010. Currently I am licensed in Oklahoma, but look forward to becoming an LVT here in the Great state of Texas. Before AMC I worked for Oklahoma Animal Disease and Diagnostic Lab and worked at and AHAA approved small animal practice for two years and mixed animal practice for one. I am very fortunate to have found my place here and do what I love everyday. My passion is caring for your furry family members as if they were my own and that's honestly how I look at them. I like to share my knowledge of small animal health with all of our clients because I strive to assist our Veterinarians in ensuring that all of our patients receive individually tailored recommendations and preventative care health plans, to provide owners with the tools to prolong the well-being of your cherished pets!
